If you’ve been struggling to work your CNC, then help is here. My website is here to help you resolve your problems.
Meet me, Buddy
I’ve been working with CNCs for the majority of my work experience. For 12 years I have been working with professional Haas machines. In those years I went from learning the ropes as a beginner operator to becoming the lead CNC operator on my shift. Additionally, I am often consulted by those on other shifts for advice.
I got started in woodworking 10 years ago. In that time I’ve taken several classes at Marc Adams School of Woodworking, started a craft business, and had fun tinkering with things in the shop. It seemed natural for me to look to expand to using a CNC in woodworking, too.
Others you might see
You may also see mentioned my 6 daughters and my lovely wife, Margaret. Since she’s the one that does the website end of things chances are she actually wrote that. (Not that I object to that assessment, of course.) 🙂
Where we’re going
On my CNC journey, I’m currently at the dreaming step. I work with the big machines at work and dream of having one at home. I feel with my commercial CNC experience I can provide valuable advice as you follow my journey from CNC dreamer to CNC owner.
My first goal is to help those who are new to the CNC community learn exactly what CNCs are and how they work.
I’ll also share with you my research and purchase planning. If I decide to make my own, I’ll document that journey, too.
For those that have CNCs, I’ll use my knowledge of commercial CNCs and my research to help you. I’ll help you figure out programming, work flows, and how to arrange the actual machine.
